Heartland Humane Society
Our mission is to build a more compassionate community by teaching humane messages to our youth, caring for nameless animals, and strengthening the human-animal bond. Our major funding comes from donations and our thrift store, the Cat’s Meow.
Homeless Education
Our mission is to remove barriers so homeless and highly mobile youth can consistently attend the same school all year. The Carts for Corvallis donation would be used to provide children with school supplies, laundry and gas vouchers, and bus passes. This makes it possible for parents to transport their children to school no matter where they are living in the area.
Community Outreach
Since 1971, our mission has been “helping people help themselves.” We are a social service agency providing food, shelter, hygiene resources, crisis and information referral, case management, behavioral health treatment, acute medical care, therapeutic daycare, and permanent supportive housing for the homeless and low-income community members of the mid-Willamette Valley.
Coastal Food Bank
Our mission is to make sure everyone in our 23 mile radius receives balanced, nutritious meals. We present food to families in a dignified, uplifting manner.
