Benton Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate substandard housing and make homeownership affordable for low income families in our community. Their partnership with volunteers, businesses and organizations allow them to achieve this mission. Carts for Corvallis donations will go towards the completion of two new homes in Philomath and the acquisition of a new site for construction of future homes.
Want to help support Habitat for Humanity?
Each time you shop, bring in your reusable bags; we’ll give you a bean for each bag you use, which is worth 5¢. You can then use your beans to support the organization of your choice by placing them in our bean towers, located at each entrance to the Co-op! The top slot is for Carts for Corvallis recipients, such as Senior Dog Rescue. These beans are counted at the end of the month, and donations of up to $1000 are made to each organization. Results are printed in the Thymes each month.
