Please carefully read the tips below on how to apply for employment at First Alternative Co-op. Resumes and/or cover letters submitted without a required Skills Attachment and General Application will not be considered.

Some of our skills attachments are fillable PDFs. You will need Adobe Acrobat or PDF program to fill out those digital forms.

After downloading the required materials, enter your data. MAKE SURE TO SAVE the file before attaching to an email, otherwise it will come to us blank.

Please ensure that you attach the newest document that has your changes, not the original document, as the original will be delivered blank.

If you are still having problems, please consider downloading and printing the documents, and completing them by hand (written, not typed). You may submit materials to Customer Service at either store before the closing deadline; they do not need to be submitted electronically.

First Alternative Cooperative’s staff  working at least 28 hours/week receive a full range of benefits, including Paid Time Off (PTO); benefit dollars contributed to medical insurance, based on hours worked; profitsharing when available; 15% discount on Co-op purchases. Note: some benefits are available only after completing a 6-month introductory period.
