Grocery Assistant Manager

The Grocery Team seeks an individual with prior retail grocery experience. Knowledge about the natural foods industry is a big plus. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills are required for this position. The top candidate will also have a positive attitude and strong team building/leadership skills.
The Grocery Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating the regular functions of the Grocery department for the assigned store location. This includes ordering product, invoicing, managing inventory and margins, as well as scheduling, supervising and evaluating assigned department staff.
The Grocery Assistant Manager works closely with the Grocery Manager to ensure the success of the Grocery department.
This is a 40 hours/week salaried, full-time position. Compensation starts at $2,224/month (equivalent to $13.90/hour) DOE.
