Basil Cilantro Walnut Pesto

A great appetizer to pair with a great summer meal! Try it with fresh ciliegine mozzarella and fresh heirloom tomatoes for a real summer treat!

  1. 6 garlic cloves
  2. 2 cups fresh basil
  3. 1 cup fresh cilantro
  4. *Juice of one lemon
  5. 3/4 cup organic olive oil
  6. 1 cup organic walnuts
  7. 1 cup organic Parmesan cheese
  8. *cayenne pepper, to taste
  9. *sea salt, to taste
  1. Mix the first seven ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add sea salt and cayenne to taste
  3. Enjoy!
