Ingredients
  1. ¼ cup sugar
  2. 4 Tbsp rum or water
  3. ¼# milk chocolate
  4. 2 cups + 3 Tbsp whipping cream, divided
  5. 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Instructions
  1. Mix sugar and rum in a saucepan and cook over very low heat until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Melt chocolate over hot water
  3. Add 3 Tbsp. cream and stir.
  4. Add the syrup to the melted chocolate and stir until smooth.
  5. Whip 2 cups whipped cream until soft peaks form.
  6. When the chocolate mixture is cool but not chilled, fold in the egg whites
  7. Fold in the whipped cream.
  8. Divide into parfait glasses and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
