Rising Sun Dairy Strawberry Milk

Recall Issue Date: December 1, 2021

Rising Sun Dairy is issuing a voluntary recall of Strawberry Milk with the Best by Date of 12/09/21 due to insufficient pasteurization. The product is packaged in half gallon and/or quart and/or pint glass bottles. The consumption of the recalled product may cause health risks associated with un-pasteurized milk products or gastrointestinal infection and related complications of food poisoning. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the Oregon Department of Agriculture. We are not aware of any reported cases of illness related to the product. The product in question was only available at the North Store.

Lonely Lane Farms Ground Chorizo Sausage

Recall Issue Date: April 1, 2021

Out of an abundance of caution Lonely Lane has decided to withdraw all ground chorizo matching the lot number 21067-6. This is in response to the possibility it may contain small fragments of plastic. The lot number in question was only available for sale at South store from Friday 3/26 to Monday 3/29, 2021 and at North store from approximately Friday 3/12 to Monday 3/29, 2021.

Big River Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recall Issue Date: February 25, 2020

Big River Breads has issued a voluntary recall of their Chocolate Chip Cookies due to undeclared soy. Customers who may have purchased them between 2/18/20 and up to 2/21/20 are urged to destroy them or return them to the place of purchase if they are sensitive to soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. We are not aware of any reported cases of illness related to these products. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration and Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Whole Flower Farms Gluten-Free Vegan Cookies

Recall Issue Date: September 17, 2019

Whole Flower Foods recalled all cookies due to undeclared sub-ingredients. Soy was one of those ingredients. All product was pulled immediately and has been replaced by appropriately labeled product. This was a voluntary recall.

Oregon’s Wild Harvest Bulk Organic Dried Elderberries

Recall Issue Date: April 30, 2019

The recall was initiated after small glass fragments were discovered in a remaining quantity of unfinished bulk product during an internal inspection. It was determined that the glass did not enter the raw material at Oregon’s Wild Harvest and the raw material arrived at their facility from their supplier already containing this defect. Oregon’s Wild Harvest has received no adverse event notifications related to this product to date. All possibly affected product has been pulled from the sales floor.

Recall Issue Date: February 15, 2019

Nature’s Path Foods announced a voluntary recall of a specific production run of EnviroKidz Choco Chimps, Gorilla Munch and Jungle Munch cereals for they may contain undeclared gluten (wheat and barley). People who have a wheat allergy, celiac disease or sensitivity to gluten and wheat should not consume the cereals with the BEST BEFORE DATE listed below due to potential adverse health effects. Nature’s Path is also removing any affected cereals from customer store shelves and warehouses.

The error was isolated to one facility and due to air contamination as a result of incorrect production scheduling. Other gluten-free Nature’s Path and EnviroKidz products are not impacted and are not part of this voluntary recall. Consumers requesting a refund for the affected cereals should return the product to their retailer. Recall Issue Date: October 1, 2018

MediNatura Inc. is voluntarily recalling some production lots of 4 of its OTC aqueous-based products within expiry, due to possible microbial contamination. Administration or use of drug products with microbial contamination, could potentially result in increased infections that may require medical intervention. To date, MediNatura has not received any reports of illness or injury.

The production lots of these products were made by a third-party supplier who no longer manufactures for MediNatura. Several months ago, we transferred the manufacture of our nasal sprays and throat sprays to another facility that has a history of favorable FDA inspections. Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact MediNatura at 1-800-920-9203 Tuesday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Mountain Standard Time, or email [email protected].

Consumers are encouraged to return the recalled product to the place of purchase or complete and return the recall form and send it back to MediNatura per the instructions on the form. Radagast Pet Food, Inc. of Portland, OR is recalling three lots of Rad Cat Raw Diet Free-Range Chicken Recipe because testing results indicate they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The Company is also recalling one lot of Rad Cat Raw Diet Pasture-Raised Venison Recipe because testing results indicate it has the potential to be contaminated with Shiga Toxin producing E. coli O121. This recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution. Due to Radagast Pet Food’s commitment to food safety and quality, The Company is conducting this voluntary recall.

Better Planet Brands, LLC dba ACURE is initiating a voluntary recall of the ACURE Clarifying Acne Glycolic and Zinc Towelettes UPC 813424020284. This ONLY affects Lot Codes 7434 A1, 7434 B1, 7434 A2, 7434 B2, 7449 B1, 7449 A2, A96, A106, B106, C27.
This recall is being initiated with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration and has been initiated due to the discovery of an out of specification result detected during a routine water quality testing at our contract manufacturer. ACURE has not received any reports of adverse reactions; however, the company is initiating the voluntary recall in an abundance of caution.

Please be advised that Garden of Life has issued a voluntary recall of their Baby Organic Liquid formula, item number 102900. There is updated information posted to their Garden of Life blog.  Please stop using the product and return the unused portion to our store for a full refund. Please be assured that there are no safety concerns with the ingredients in this product. They are recalling this product because the directions may be misinterpreted, and this product must be administered precisely, under careful parental supervision as it is intended for infants. They began shipping these products the week of August 14, 2017. All lots of Baby Organic Liquid are affected. However, no other Garden of Life product is affected by this precautionary recall. Please note that they are conducting the recall voluntarily, and are working collaboratively with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on all associated matters.
