Ingredients
  1. 2 apples, diced
  2. 1 egg, beaten
  3. 1/3 cup milk
  4. 1 cup flour (we prefer Pamela's baking mix!)
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. oil for frying
  8. powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Beat egg and milk into dry ingredients, stir in apples, and drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
  2. Fry until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Drain on paper towels for 2-5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar.
  4. Alternately; core, peel, and slice the apples to 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Dip them in the batter and fry in butter.
  6. Serve with maple syrup for a yummy breakfast treat.
