Indiana Chili
Economical, satisfying, and kid-friendly

1lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1¼ tsp salt
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 quarts tomato juice
1 quart water
1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 lb. spaghetti
Instructions
Brown ground beef and onion in a stock pot. Add salt, chili powder, tomato juice and water. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add kidney beans and stir. Bring a large pan of water to boil and add spaghetti. Cook until al dente. Drain and rinse. Add spaghetti to chili, heat through and serve with crackers.
