DAY 4: Popeye's Grilled Cheese and Apple Celery Salad

Popeye’s Grilled Cheese

  • 4 slices bread

  • Butter

  • Sliced cheddar cheese

  • 10 spinach leaves


Butter one side of bread; slices; place 2 pieces butter-side down in a skillet over med-low heat. Place cheese on the 2 pieces bread in the skillet. Add 5 spinach leaves to each sandwich. Place the second piece of bread on each sandwich, butter-side up. Toast until golden brown; turn sandwiches over and toast second side until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Apple Celery Salad

  • 1 apple, chopped

  • 1½ sticks celery, chopped

  • ¼ cup walnuts

  • ¼ cup raisins

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise


Stir all ingredients together.
