  • 1 apple
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 whole cloves (or ΒΌ tsp ground cloves)
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tsp brown sugar


Stick whole cloves into the apple, circling the apple. Add all ingredients, including the apples, to a large pot over medium low heat. Simmer for 30-45 minutes. Remove apples and whole cloves and serve.
