Beans & Taters

Beans & Taters FTW! If it’s been a hard day at work or home and you’re looking for a quick and easy winner, pick this dinner! There’s nothing like hearty comfort food to help ease yourself into a relaxing evening, and this tasty casserole combines two comfort food classics into a dinner that’s as easy as one-two-three.

Tater Thoughts: Ever wonder who thought up tater tots? You don’t have to look far! They were invented in 1953 by a trio of brothers who’d just founded the Oregon Frozen Foods Company in Ontario, Oregon. A few years later when they opened a second factory in Idaho, they changed the name to Ore-Ida. Cascadian Farms’ Spud Puppies are a version of these tasty treats made with organic potatoes.

Spud Puppies
  • 2 cans baked beans
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • ½ cup carrot, grated
  • 1 bag Cascadian Farms Spud Puppies
