Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Reduce waste by bringing reusable shopping bags and shopping the bulk section whenever possible.

Lots of groceries come in easily re-usable containers. Wash them and find uses for them in your home! Check out the ReUse Directory (downloadable, or interactive) available from the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition to learn how your unwanted items may be reused.

Our recycling center, in partnership with Republic Services, accepts a variety of materials for recycling as a service to the community. It is located in a gravel lot to the south of our South Store, at 1007 SE 3rd St. in Corvallis, OR.

We Recycle Styrofoam!

$1.75/cubic foot fee • Accepted 10am-4pm at the South Store
Visit Customer Service first to pay fee

The Co-op needs your help keeping Styrofoam out of the landfill. Your payment will offset the high cost of providing this service. After collection, Styrofoam goes to Agilyx in Tigard to be condensed and reused.

Other Waste Reduction Resources
