We’re excited to share that the Co-op’s produce department has received a grant from the Organically Grown Company (OGC)!
OGC announced that more than $200,000 in grants will be awarded to organizations that align with their mission to grow the organic agriculture movement and support groups leading the charge to protect the planet, create an equitable food system and more.
OGC has helped provide the Co-op with fresh, local, organic produce for decades. OGC supports organic farms and champions environmental causes up and down the west coast, because giving back is deeply rooted in their purpose. We’re proud to work with them to promote and grow the organic movement, and honored to receive this grant. The grant will be used to make general department and equipment updates to the Produce Departments at both our locations to ensure we can continue to provide the best fresh, local, organic produce for our shoppers.
