Participation in Benton To Go

Is the Co-op participating in the Benton To Go Program?

Due to different regulatory oversight and rules for grocery stores as compared to restaurants (grocery stores are regulated by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and restaurants are regulated by the local health department), First Alternative is not currently able to participate in the Benton To Go program. If we are able to participate in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know. Meanwhile, our General Manager and Brand Manager serve on the Benton To Go planning committee to ensure we can help support this program that helps reduce single-use plastic waste in our community!
