Grilled Pineapple with Ice Cream

The perfect capper to a beautiful barbecue meal. This dessert is oh-so simple and oh-so irresistible!

  • 1 pineapple

  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

  • 1 pint of vanilla ice cream

Instructions

1. Peel pineapple, remove eyes, and slice into 3/4″ rounds.
2. Place slices on grill.
3. Brush one side of slice with butter, flip and brush other side also.
4. Grill over medium heat, 3-4 minutes until grill marks form.
5. Turn fruit for perpendicular grill marks and grill another 3-4 minutes.
6. Remove from grill, place grill-marks-side up and allow to cool.
7. Cut core from each slice.
8. Scoop vanilla ice cream on top of each slice. Serve immediately.
