We have been notified of a recall of Gibson Farms bulk organic walnuts (Bin #6075) distributed between Oct. 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024 due to potential E. coli contamination. Both Co-op locations have removed all potentially affected products from this supplier on site, sanitized the bulk bins, and are restocking with safe organic walnuts that we have confirmed are not affected by the recall.
Your health and safety is our top priority. If you purchased bulk organic walnuts between Oct. 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024, do not consume them. Please return them to the Co-op for a full refund.
Walnuts used in all Co-op Kitchen products are sourced from Frazier Nut Farms and are not affected by this recall.
