Mango Pie

This sweet, fruity, and decadent pie will leave your party guests coming back for more. We used a gluten-free crust, but any crust will work just fine with this recipe.

  • 1 double 9-inch pie crust

  • 5 cups mango, sliced (5 medium mangoes)

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ¼ cup flour

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pastry.
2. Mix mango and lemon juice.
3. Stir together sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Combine dry mixture with mangoes.
4. Turn into pie shell, dot with butter.
5. Cover with top crust, cut slits in top. Place pie pan on a cookie sheet.
6. Bake 35-45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
7. Serve warm with ice cream or frozen yogurt.
